Sir-Vere’s “Peer Pressure” is the 3rd single from the upcoming album Lovescope, which is being released on March 17th with a limited edition vinyl due out on April 7th. Following previous singles “Misophonia” and “Lovescope,” the Milton Keynes groove merchants continue to fuse the filth and fury of punk with the power of rock and the momentum of breakbeat, house and techno.
Full of incredible energy, “Peer Pressure” feels like it’s ready for a major film or television placement, as it’s exactly the kind of track music supervisors scour their record collections for. Sir-Vere proves they know exactly what they’re doing as the song grabs you with a head-bop inducing intro and they never let go. The track is catchy as hell and totally earns earworm status. By the time the song wraps up at 3:14, you are ready to get right back on the ride again. Thankfully, the band is well aware of this and has released two remixes as well, the Vodzilla and S-Vas remixes. Plenty of groves and beats and attitude and swagger to keep you interested, satisfied and hooked.
“Peer Pressure” is an excellent example of the extra firepower and versatility the band is capable of with the recently expanded four-piece line up:
